PATENT PD-1554 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method and circuit for minimizing interference, in particular in connection with FM of PM reception, caused by noise interference with a useful signal, where interference-specific information is derived from a received signal, with aid of which an output signal is corrected at least during time periods of maximum interference, constituting a correction phase, and where the magnitude of an amplitude dip below a threshold value of the received signal, caused by interference signals, in the range of a maximum interference phase cycle, is used as the interference-specific information for causing correction to take place while the amplitude of the received signal is below the threshold value; and controlling the magnitude of the threshold value as a function of the slops of the respective amplitude dip in such a way that the threshold value is automatically increased with increasing slope of the amplitude dip and and as a function of the amplitude of the received signal preceding the amplitude dip.
