13 Abstract A paint can holder for use on ladders with hollow rungs includes a container-holding portion and an elongate rod. The rod is intended to be inserted into the hollow rung and is releasably attached thereto with a screwable collar. The container-holding portion is formed into a circular loop adapted to receive and hold the paint can therein. The paint can holder also has other supports to ensure the container is held. When the screwable collar is loosened, the paint can holder can rotate about its longitudinal axis, thus the painter can move the ladder without removing the paint can holder and paint can.
