A method for shear-spinning the rotor for a magneto-generator; the rotor comprises a cap-shaped member of metallic material having a bottom and peripheral walls defining a cylindrical ring for circulation of the magnetic flux and a central hub for connection to a drive shaft. The cap member and the central hub are formed in one single piece from a cut disk of malleable metallic material which is plastically cold-shaped by progressive rough-shaping stages to obtain the bottom wall of the cap member, the peripheral ring and the central hub of the rotor by means of rolling or shear-spinning operations against shaping surfaces, while keeping the same cut disk of material and/or the blank rotating.

Le rotor comprend un capuchon en matériau métallique ayant une paroi inférieure et des parois périphériques définissant un anneau cylindrique permettant la circulation du flux magnétique, et une partie centrale permettant une connexion à un arbre d'entraînement. Le capuchon et la partie centrale sont formés d'une seule pièce depuis un disque coupé en matériau métallique malléable et formé à froid de manière plastique par des étapes graduelles de tournage grossier de façon à obtenir la paroi inférieure du capuchon, l'anneau cylindrique, et la partie centrale du rotor à l'aide de laminage ou de fluotournage contre les surfaces de formage, tout en maintenant en rotation le même disque de matériau et/ou le flan.
