A mold runner for a runner or sprue type injection molding apparatus. The mold runner allows the passage of a substrate material from an injection source into a mold cavity and contains a containment shroud which utilizes the relative incompressibility of the substrate material in the containment shroud which prevents an in-mold coating, which is injected into the mold cavity in a subsequent step, from flowing into the injection substrate source thereby contaminating the same.

L'invention concerne un canal d'alimentation de moule pour un dispositif de moulage par injection de type à canal d'alimentation ou à descente de coulée. Le canal d'alimentation du moule permet à un matériau support de passer d'une source d'injection dans la cavité d'un moule et contient une enveloppe de confinement qui utilise l'incompressibilité relative du matériau support dans l'enveloppe de confinement qui empêche un revêtement <= dans le moule >=, qui est injecté dans la cavité d'un moule dans une étape subséquente, de s'écouler dans la source de substrat d'injection et de risquer de la contaminer.
