This invention relates to a powder coating composition made from at least two components comprising (A) a film forming resin composition; and (B) a transfer efficiency enhancing amount of at least one aromatic ring compound containing at least two substituents, wherein one of the two substituents is selected independently from the group consisting of (i) groups containing at least one carboxy or a carboxy producing moiety; (ii) alkoxy groups; and (iii) halide groups; and the second substitutent is a nitro or a halide group; wherein component (B) is incorporated into the powder coating composition by addition of component (B) to an extruded composition comprising components other than component (B). The invention also relates to a method for coating a substrate using the foregoing powder coating composition.
L'invention concerne une composition de revêtement pulvérulente constituée d'au moins deux composants dont a) une composition de résine filmogène et b) au moins un composé aromatique cyclique en quantité suffisante pour augmentr l'efficacité de transfert. Ce composé comprend au moins deux substituants. L'un des deux substituants est sélectionné de façon indépendante dans le groupe constitué par: i) les groupes comprenant au moins un groupe carboxy ou un groupe fonctionnel producteur de carboxy, ii) les groupes alcoxy, et iii) les groupes halogénures. L'autre substituant est un groupe halogénure ou nitro. Pour incorporer le composant b) à la composition de revêtement pulvérulente, on l'ajoute à une composition extrudée constituée de composants autres que le composant b). L'invention concerne également un procédé de revêtement de substrat au moyen de la composition de revêtement pulvérulente de l'invention.
