ABSTRACT The water bicycle is a human-propelled water bicycle suitable for training or recreative purposes. The water bicycle has two steerable front pontoons and two rear pontoons fixed to a main frame substantially similar to a convention bicycle frame. Handlebars are provided to turn the steerable front pontoons and therefore allowing the water bicycle to be steered. The water bicycle has a pedal mechanism and a bicycle-type transmission powering a propeller located at the rear of the water bicycle.
