Brewing apparatus including a cold water container (1) which incorporates a water purifying device (5) and comprises a water outlet (2) connected to the water-heater (3). According to the invention, the water purifying device includes a removable cartridge (7) comprising a lower part forming a receptacle (8) sealingly mounted in an appropriate reservoir (10) formed in the container bottom, and wherein is removably lodged a filter bag (15) containing a water purifying substance (16), and an upper part forming a top (18) located in the extension of the receptacle (8) and adapted to close the latter. The cartridge top (18) comprises at least one opening (42) through which water enters from the container, said cartridge receptacle (8) comprising at last one opening (51) through which water flows into the water-heater (3) after passing through the filter bag (15). Application especially to electric coffee makers.

L'invention concerne une machine à infusion comportant un réservoir d'eau froide (1) qui incorpore un dispositif de purification d'eau (5) et qui comprend une sortie d'eau (2) reliée à un chauffe-eau (3). Selon l'invention, le dispositif de purification d'eau comporte une cartouche amovible (7) comprenant une partie basse formant un godet (8) qui est destiné à être monté de manière étanche dans un bassin approprié (10) formé dans k fond du réservoir, et dans lequel est logé de façon amovible un sachet-filtre (15) contenant une substance de purification d'eau (16), ainsi qu'une partie haute formant un chapeau (18) qui est situé dans le prolongement du godet (8) et qui est adapté à fermer celui-ci, ledit chapeau (18) de la cartouche comprenant au moins une ouverture (42) par laquelle entre l'eau du réservoir, et ledit godet (8) de la cartouche comprenant su moins une ouverture (51) par laquelle l'eau s'écoule dans le chauffe-eau (3) après passage à travers le sachet filtre (15). L'invention s'applique particulièrement aux cafetières électriques.
