A sound attenuating wall construction having a wall of vertical members, a hanger bar secured to one side of the wall near an upper edge thereof, a sound attenuating curtain of flexible material hanging from the hanger bar downwardly to the bottom of the wall structure spaced the said wall structure by an air space, a cover wall secured to the wall structure on the other side of the flexible sound curtain, and defining a further air space between the cover wall and the sound curtain, and, sound attenuation baffles in at least one of the cover wall and said the structure.
