The invention relates to the use of a pneumovirus NS1 protein and/or NS2 protein or a nucleic acid coding the pneumovirus NS1 protein and/or NS2 protein for the production of a pharmaceutical formulation in order to reduce an interferon (IFN)- mediated immune response. The invention also relates to recombinant pneumoviruses, especially respiratory syncytial viruses (RSV) which have an increased or reduced resistance or no resistance with respect to the interferon (IFN)-mediated immune response. The invention further relates to recombinant viruses having an increased resistance with respect to an interferon (IFN)-mediated immune response and to the use of said viruses in pharmaceutical applications, e.g. as vaccines.
La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'une protéine NS1 et/ou d'une protéine NS2 de pneumovirus, ou d'un acide nucléique codant la protéine NS1 et/ou la protéine NS2 de pneumovirus, pour la fabrication d'une formulation pharmaceutique destinée à réduire la réponse immunitaire induite par interféron (IFN). L'invention concerne également des pneumovirus recombinants, en particulier de virus respiratoires syncytiaux (RSV) ayant une résistance augmentée, réduite ou nulle contre la réponse immunitaire induite par interféron (IFN).
