L'invention concerne un dispositif de terminal (300) limitant de manière appropriée l'utilisation de licence dans chaque dispositif de terminal (300) et comprenant : une section de stockage de licence (312) destinée à conserver une licence permettant d'utiliser un contenu sous la forme d'un travail numérique et à la corréler en même temps avec des informations d'identification de domaine indiquant un domaine parmi une pluralité de domaines ; une section de jugement de domaine (303) utilisée quand le domaine auquel un autre dispositif de terminal (300) appartient est différent du domaine indiqué par les informations d'identification de domaine, aux fins d'inhibition de l'utilisation de la licence par l'autre dispositif de terminal susmentionné (300) ; ainsi qu'une section de transmission des résultats du traitement de la licence (305).
