The invention relates to a chewing gum tablet (20) comprising at least two cohered chewing gum modules (21, 22, 23), said tableted chewing gum being formed by compression of chewing gum granules, at least one of said chewing gum modules comprising gum base granules, said gum base granules comprising an elastomer system, said chewing gum tablet comprising an elastomer system in an amount of at least 10% by weight of the tablet. According to the invention, a compressed chewing gum tablet has been obtained featuring extremely impressing abilities of incorporating well-defined amounts of chewing gum ingredients combined with acceptable rheological properties of the compete tablet.

Tablette de chewing gum (20) comprenant au moins deux modules de chewing gum en correspondance (21, 22, 23), le chewing gum étant formé par compression de granules, au moins un des modules comportant des granules à base de gomme, comprenant un système élastomère. La tablette de chewing gum comporte un système élastomère selon une quantité d'au moins 10 % en poids de la tablette. La tablette comprimée de chewing gum de cette invention est remarquable en ce qu'elle permet d'intégrer des quantités bien définies d'ingrédients combinés à des propriétés rhéologiques acceptables pour toute la tablette.
