VENTED LIQUID COLLECTION DEVICE Abstract of the Disclosure A collection device and method wherein fill- augmenting means are provided in a vented collection com- partment at a portion between the ends of the compartment, for inducing capillary flow into the compartment of blood deposited at the portion. Capture means can also be provided to prevent leakage of the collected liquid out of the vent. The device is particularly useful in the collection and further processing of blood to obtain blood serum for clinical analysis. -1-
