Abstract of the Disclosure Polyamide, Polyamide-imide and Polyimide Polymers and Process for their Manufacture Novel polyamides, polyamida-amide-acids or polyamide-acids having structural elements of the formula Image (I) and the corresponding derivatives which have been cyclised to the imide as weil as a process for their manufacture sre disclosed. The polymers according to the invention are readily soluble and can also be pro- csssed from the melt. They are further distinguished by good thermal, electricsl and/or mechanical properties.
