8 48,826 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides with a single body of semiconductor material a main thyristor and two auxiliary thyristors. The two auxiliary thyristors are connected in a parallel electrical circuit relationship and one of the auxiliary thyristors fires at a lower dv/dt than either the main thyristor or the other auxiliary thyristor.
