Abstract of the Disclosure A scraper for a conveyor belt comprises a scraper blade adapted, in use, to extend transversely of the surface of a belt to be scraped, spring means operable on the blade to urge the latter into engagement with the belt, and a fluid damper unit located at or towards each end of the blade and serving to damp displacement, in use, of the spring means.
