ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Loom for craftsmen or amateurs. It has two spaced parallel transverse front and back beams each having an array of upright pins; a reed likewise formed of a transverse beam pro- vided with an array of upright pins, and a set of flat elongated healds having end openings and a central opening for a warp thread. The loom further has heald bars and a support provided with two upright rods for stacking the healds with their end openings threaded onto the rods. With such a loom, a single warp thread may be threaded throughout the whole stack of healds on the support and then wound back and forth between the front and back beams through the reed together with successive healds to be assembled in groups of like motion by means of the heald bars threaded through the end openings of the healds.
