INTEGRAL FOLDABLE PACKAGE Abstract of the Disclosure An integral package for a cassette type article com- prising a foldable member having first and second cover walls pivotally connected to a spine wall to form a book-like con- tainer, and having disposed between the cover walls a rec- tangular tubular compartment. The compartment has a side panel provided with a slotted opening dimensioned for re- ceiving therein at least a portion of the article, and is disposed with respect to the spine wall for retaining the article in the compartment when the container is closed. The foldable member also may have a flap portion integrally connected to one of the cover walls along a perforated edge to provide a support hanger which may be used to support the package in retail displays and may be readily removed when the package is stored, similar to a book on a shelf, for example. The package may be enclosed in a shrink wrapping of clear plastic material, and has at least one open end portion whereby the presence of an article in the compartment may be ascertained without removing the wrapping and opening the book-like container.
