ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE High-permeability silicon-iron sheet is produced by providing a melt containing about 10 parts per million boron, 45 parts per million nitrogen and about 0.030 per cent of manganese and sulfur, hot rolling from about 2250°F, and finishing with a final cold reduction of 80 per cent.
