PHN.8553 17-8-1977 ABSTRACT: The existing clamping circuit in the video chain is extended with a series L-C network in the feedback circuit. Interference in the video signal, resulting from the occurrence of microphony in the pick-up tube, can thus be suppressed. When the L-C network is suitably detuned, the resonant frequency signal (microphony fre- quency) of the grid of the pick-up tube can be fully compensated for in the video signal as regards amplitude and phase at adequate feedback.
