ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a device for protecting and rendering impermeable a concrete manufacture in use, com- prising heating means for dehydrating a surface layer of said manufacture, means for impregnating said surface layer with a liquid monomer, means for supplying water in heat receiving relationship to said heating means, and means for supplying the heated water to said surface layer impregnated with said liquid monomer for polymerizing said monomer under the water heated by said heating means.
