Abstract of the disclosure A method of reducing the interference between the sideband of a first carrier which is frequency-modulated by a video signal and a second carrier which is frequency- modulated by an audio signal, comprising increasing the amplitude of the second carrier signal and decreasing at least those sideband components of the first carrier in the region of the second carrier as those components tend to increase to interfere with the second carrier.
