ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention provides a thermoplastic composi- tion comprising a blend of about 15 to about 65 parts by weight thermoplastic crystalline polyolefin resin and about 85 to about 35 parts by weight cross-linked CSM rubber per 100 total parts by weight polyolefin resin and CSM rubber. The CSM rubber has a sulfur content of 0.5 to 3.0% and a chlorine content of 15 to 50% and is cross- linked to the extent that no more than forty weight percent of the rubber is extractable in toluene. The compositions of this invention are useful for making a variety of articles such as tires, hoses, belts, gaskets, moldings and molded parts. The compositions of this invention exhibit improved strength, greater toughness and impact resistance.
