ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Vulcanizable compositions contain in admixture a synthetic high molecular weight polymer and a compatible low molecular weight polymer containing a multiplicity of antioxidant functional groups chemically bound to the polymer. Vulcanizates derived from these compositions have improved aging characteristics.
