ABSTRACT There are disclosed earplugs in a reverse-concentric tapered flange design with small flanges increasing in diameter to the middle of the earplug then the flanges reducing in diameter to a medium-large flange at the other end. The earplugs have the flanges so arranged that either end may be used, or the flanges may be snipped off to achieve a perfect fit for most ear canal sizes. The earplugs are molded from flexible rubber or plastic compounds.
