A portable cattle shelter of the type skidded from one location in the field to another is of a bottom-less type and has end walls provided with swinging panels extending along the bottom edge of each end wall to clear dirt and waste on the old location and also terrain obstacles as the structure is skidded. An arcuate roof improves overall strength of the structure and further reduces the danger of damage to same during the skidding. The advance in the art resides in the combined improvement in rigidity and simplified overall structure.
