SHOE WITH SUPPORTED HEEL ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention comprises a sport shoe to be used by runners. In order to obtain increased rear foot stability the shoe comprises an outside counter and a pair of straps extending upwardly and forwardly from the counter, one strap on each side of the shoe. The end of the straps comprises a lace receiving aperture. The apertures of the normal eye stay and the apertures in each of the straps are substantially aligned in order that the lace used in association with the eye stay may also be passed conveniently through the aperture of each strap.
