ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This safety ski binding of the type comprising a movable elongated plate pivotally and releasably mounted on the ski for supporting the ski boot has front and rear end means for holding the ski boot on the plate, resilient retaining means registering with one end of said plate and adapted to keep same in its normal position, a fixed abutment member at the opposite end of said plate for retaining same on the ski, and cooperating inclined faces of corresponding curvatures on said abutment member and on the registering end of said plate for self-centering the plate.
