5675 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Laminar electrical cells in which one electrode comprises a thin layer of active electrode particles adhered to a central region of a conductive plastic substrate and in contact with a central region of a separator sheet of liquid permeable material. The other electrode is a slurry dispersion of active electrode particles in an aqueous solution of electrolytes in contact with the opposite side of the separator sheet. The aqueous solution permeates the separator and both electrodes.
