ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A joint for sealing juxtaposed parallel logs separated by spacers, which are narrower than the width of the log, is disclosed. The joint comprises a flat strip of resilient material having profiled flanges bent at about right angles with respect to the flat portion of the strip and adapted to be snapped in confronting longitudinal grooves made in the juxtaposed logs, and an insulating sealing material interposed between the strip and the spacer.
