ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A diaper fastener, which comprises tape, has first and second anchoring portions and an attachment portion. The first anchoring portion is secured to the inner liner adjacent a lateral edge of the diaper. The second anchoring portion is secured to an overlapping portion of the backing sheet. The attachment portion is integral with the second anchoring portion and has a pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on one surface thereof. A second strip of tape is secured to the attachment portion outwardly of the diaper. The second strip is securable to the anchoring portions during storage.
