ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of photographing human body tissue comprises directing towards one side of the body tissue a shielded light transmitting instrument and actuating a first low intensity light emitter in the instrument which comprises a tungsten fila- ment, and which emits light within the blue to infrared spectrum, to transilluminate the body tissue and visually indicate the presence of any anomalies in the tissue. A second light emitter emitting light within the blue to infrared spectrum is then actuated in the instrument to emit a second light of higher in- tensity than the light from the first emitter to make an ex- posure on infrared sensitive film at the opposite side of the body tissue. The use of such film provides a substantially en- hanced image of anomalies.
