ABSTRACT A chair having a tiltable seat and back supported on a verti- cal post and a laterally extending support arm thereof. The seat is pivoted at the front edge thereof to the support arm via a torsion bar and a locking device is provided between the seat and the support arm to lock the seat at any desired angle of tilt.
