Abstract of the Disclosure A bioelectrode applicable to a body part has a pouch having a solid bottom formed of a sheet of electrically insulating watertight material being solid throughout said bottom, and a top sealed to said bottom and having an aperture remote from that aperture. An electrode is located in the pouch and is spaced from the mentioned aperture. An electrolyte- absorbing pad is located in the pouch between the electrode and the mentioned aperture.
