Abstract of the Disclosure A pultruded panel of synthetic thermo-setting polyester resins reinforced with glass fibers simulates multiple clapboard siding or multiple shingle tiers or vertical panel siding serving as either an exterior protective panel or as a combination protective and structural siding panel for building construction. The panels are secured to the building frame at one edge, preferably the upper edge, and have positive male and female interlocking members integrally formed along their overlapping edge for weather proof sealing. Intermediate brackets on the building frame interlock with projections behind the panels.
