AN IMPROVED METHOD FOR PREPARING PIGMENTED POLYESTERS Abstract of the Disclosure There is disclosed an improvement in the pigmenting of polyesters derived from free dicarboxylic acids and glycols employing a slurry consisting of pigmenting agent and a glycol which improvement comprises heating said slurry to a temperature ranging from about 90° C. to about 1° to 2° C. below the boiling point of the glycol constituent and adding the heated slurry to the polyester forming reactants when the temperature of said reactants ranges from about 210° to 240° C. and the pressure in the reaction vessel employed ranges from about 20 to 70 pounds per square inch gauge.
