IN THE PATENT OFFICE PATENT APPLICATION entitled COCK OR THE LIKE AND MANUFACTURING METHODS RELATING THERETO in the name of Jean GACHOT ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The cock comprises a body clamped between two flanges provided with a central opening. The body is traversed by a passage in which is mounted an obturator connected in rotation to a control shaft. The body comprises a tubular section whose annular ends are fitted into a groove of each of the flanges. A fluid-tight seal is positioned at the bottom of the groove. The invention is particularly useful in manufacturing light and economical ball-cocks.
