A B S T R A C T "Soil cultivating implements" O. van der Lely N.V., 10, Weverskade, Massland, The Netherlands. The invention relates to a soil cultivating implement which comprises at least two soil working members that are rotatable about corresponding upwardly extending axes. The soil cultivating implement further comprise a rotatable soil crumbling member, that is arranged to the rear of the soil working members with respect to the intended direction of operative travel of the implement. According to the invention the soil working members are arranged to be power-driven for rotation about the upwardly extending axes during operation of the implement. Each of the soil working members is furnished with at least one freely rotatable cultivating tool. The construction and disposition of the soil crumbling member are such that, during operation, it will displace soil in two different directions from a location which is in register with an upwardly extending plane that passes between the axes of rotation of the two soil working members in a direction parallel to the direction of operative travel at such time.
