ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: An improved manure handling apparatus of the flow-through piston or plunger type. The apparatus has a passageway, vertically mounted in the floor of a barn with a plunger slidably mounted within the passageway. The plunger has a pair of swinging doors for opening or closing the passageway. First means move the plunger up and down within the passageway to push manure there- through. Second means move the doors open or closed depending on the direction the plunger is moved.
