Abstract of the Disclosure The specification describes a sample chamber for receiving the test fluid which is to be investigated in a membrane osmometer having a sample chamber open to the atmosphere. The invention is intended to permit the introduction and removal of test liquid and rinsing liquid (solvent) without the use of special cannulac and clamps therefor, by providing, in the walls of the sample chamber, one or more bores which lead from the outside to the inside of the chamber and terminate near the outer edge of the semipermeable membrane.
