MIXER Abstract of the Disclosure A mixer is disclosed comprising a mixing vessel with at least one mixing screw that is journaled to the bottom of the vessel. The mixing screw is driven such that it simultaneously makes a turning movement around its axis and a revolving movement along the wall of the vessel. At the bottom of the vessel a pin is fixedly arranged to extend into a socket at the bottom of the mixing screw. The pin journal is characterized by having one or more temperature feelers by which undesired changes of temperature of the pin journal can be measured.
