ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides a heat sensitive switch responsive at low temperature values. According to the invention, there is provided a heat sensitive semiconductor switch including two islands of one conductivity type diffused side by side into one face of a substrate of opposite conductivity type and a high thermal carrier generation region diffused from the opposite face of the substrate into the PN junction of one of the islands.
