ABSTRACT "New prostane derivatives and their manufacture and use" Novel prostane derivatives of the general formula I Image (I) (in which R1 represents H, optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl or a heterocycle, W represents op- tionally functionally modified -CHOH- or -C(CH3)OH-, R3, R4, R5 and R6 each represents H or C1-C5-alkyl and R2 represents optionally functionally modified OH) and, when R1 is H, salts thereof with bases and the manu- facture of such compounds. The prostane derivatives and salts thereof have inter alia a hypotensive and brochodilatory action, and may accordingly be made up into pharmaceutical preparations with suitable carriers.
