DRY BLENDED CONCENTRATED DETERGENTS AND METHOD OF WASHING Abstract of the Disclosure A dry blended concentrated detergent composition for heavy duty washing consisting essentially of from 30% to 70% by weight of a surface-active compound selected from the group consisting of anionic surface-active compounds, non-ionic surface-active compounds and amphoteric surface- active compounds and from 70% to 30% by weight of a dense powdery composition consisting essentially of from 40% to 100% by weight of said composition of dense sodium carbonate or a mixture of at least 50% of dense sodium carbonate with sodium sesquicarbonate and/or sodium bicarbonate,and from 0 to 60% by weight of said composition of non-carbonate builders, inorganic fillers, and buffers, bleaching agents and their stabilizers and activators, enzymes, corrosion inhibitors, anti-redepositing agents, optical brighteners, foam stabilizers and foam inhibitors, perfumes and anti- caking agents, said dry blended concentrated detergent composition having a bulk density in excess of 550 gm/liter; as well as a method of washing solid objects employing said dry blended concentrated detergent composition in amounts of from 0.05 to 0.08 gm/liter. - 1 -
