ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A window frame comprises a plurality of hollow frame members all of the same uniform cross-section throughout their length, having open ends and being interconnected at right angles to one another by junction pieces each of which has a body portion and spigots projecting from the body portion in at least two directions at right angles to one another. The spigots are adapted to engage within the open ends of the frame members leaving the body portion exposed, projecting detents being formed on the spigots and being engaged in complementary apertures adjacent the ends of the associated frame members, the apertures being provided on surfaces of the frame members which are ob- scured from view when the frame is installed and glazed.
