A B S T R A C T This invention consists of a method and components for the construction of railing in general and balcony railing in particular. The railing, which is of the usual type, having an upper hand rail and a bottom base rail with equally spaced baluster bars in between, is constructed so that all parts are joined together by means of pressure which causes the parts to snap together and hold permanently, This is accomplished by utilizing the resilient properties of one component snap- ping into hooks provided in the other related component. The number of components have been reduced to a minimum.
