A B S T R A C T A process for preparing (3,4-dichlorophenyl- sulphinyl)-acetamidoxime of the formula: Image (I) and its non-toxic acid addition salts, comprising oxidizing a sulphide of the formula: (II) Image and, if desired, converting the resulting oxidation product into any of said acid addition salts by procedures known per se. These compounds are useful in therapy as substances acting on the central nervous system.
