ABSTRACT In a circuit arrangement for detecting a conducting thyristor, two signals produced by a thryistor-voltage dtector, are passed, together with a thryistor-ignition signal, to a logic circuit. The output pulses from the logic circuit control a timing member, the output pulses from which are inter- connected with the signals from the thryistor-voltage dtector, and with the ignition signal, in such a manner that the logic function is fulfilled. The circuit prevents the thyristors from being damaged by excessive negative in- hibiting voltages.
