ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Condensates containing urea and form- aldehyde in a molar ratio of from 1:2.5 to 1:4.5 are converted into wood glue by allowing the viscosity to increase at a pH of from 1 to 3 and at only slightly elevated temperature and then adding urea at a pH of 7 to 9.
