Abstract of the Disclosure Improved thermoplastic materials are disclosed for use in the production of mouldings having low water permeability and absorption. The materials comprise: (a) 100 parts by weight of a polyolefin rubber; (b) from 15 to 50 parts by weight of a crystalline or partly crystalline polyolefin; (c) from 30 to 140 parts by weight of a carbon black; (d) from 5 to 150 parts by weight of a bitumen or mineral oil; and (e) from 3 to 360 parts by weight of chalk or siliceous chalk.
