ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus in vehicles have centrally suspended pivoting axles with control means preferably in the form of fluid cylinders arranged between the axles and the respective portion of the vehicle chassis. The fluid cylinders coact in such a way that a pivoting movement of one axle in one direction achieves a pivoting movement in the opposite direction for the other axle. The fluid cylinders (24,25,24",25") arranged at one axle (11,11') have an absolute working area which is greater than the corresponding area of the fluid cylinders (22,23,22',23') arranged at the other axle (6,6') and that said one axle (11,11') carries wheels (7,8) in a bogie arrangement.
